Hello,
I'm Ali Boyer.
Over the years, I have witnessed how healing and growth happen within the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to explore your experiences, make sense of life's challenges, and move toward meaningful change.
Clients often describe me as thoughtful, compassionate, and direct. I bring both professional expertise and deep respect for each person's unique story. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with clients to understand their individual needs, values, beliefs, strengths, and goals.
I know that reaching out for counselling can feel vulnerable. Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you are returning after some time away, I strive to make the process feel welcoming, comfortable, and empowering.
It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate life's challenges and discover new possibilities for healing a growth.
Training
As a counselling therapist and psychotherapist, I hold a Masters degree in Counselling from Acadia University, and am a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate(RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. In addition, I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC).
